Gesamtschirm verdrillen oder 

einfach über den Kabelmantel 

nach hinten ziehen. Kabelpärchen 

durch die Adernaufnahme führen. 

Adern so nah wie möglich an der 

Adernaufnahme mit einem 

Seitenschneider abschneiden.

Einzelne Adern entsprechend dem 

aufgedruckten Farbcode einlegen.

Es bleibt die Verdrillung so weit 

wie möglich erhalten.

Kamm in den Keystone Jack 

einführen.

Markierung und Verriegelung 

schützen vor falschem Aufsetzen 

im Jack

Danach die beiden Flügel  zusam-

mendrücken

Der Jack rastet durch den 

Druck ein und drückt die Adern 

automatisch in die vorgesehenen 

Schneidklemmen im Jack

Somit ist kein Aufschaltwerkzeug

mehr notwendig

Zum Schluss wird noch die Schir-

mung mit einem mitgeliefertem 

Kabelbinder befestigt - FERTIG

Unser 

KAT6

A

 Jack hat eine 360° 

Schirmung - der KAT6 Jack 

nicht. Dieser hat nur eine 180° 

Schirmung. Natürlich sind die 

elektrischen Werte beider Jacks 

auch unterschiedlich. 

Mit diesem Merkmalen kann man 

die Jacks sehr rasch unterschei-

den!

Die „Überlänge“ der Adern an der 

Adernaufnahme darf max. 0,5mm 

betragen, ansonsten kann es zu 

einem Kurzschluss am Gehäuse 

kommen.

Strip a minimum of 25mm of 

jacket from the end of cable and 

pull the shield back. Adjust the 

pairs according to the colour code 

and insert the wires into the cap.

Cut the excess wire off, as close

to the edge of the cap as possible.

Insert the wires into their correct 

position based upon the colour 

code.

Make sure that the arrows on the 

jack and the cap face in 

the same direction.

Align the cap with the IDC

towers and press it into

position.

Redate the wings toward each

other until they snap closed.

Ensure that the drain wire is 

wrapped aroand the cable 

and shield.

Tie-wrap the drain wire to the 

shield. Do not over tighten the tie 

wrap. If necessary cut the excess 

shield without damage the cable 

jacket.

 Jack have 360° shield 

contact the CAT6 Jack have only 

180°. Of course the electrical 

character is much better for the 

CAT6

A

. You can see the difference 

therefore very easy!

ATTENTION: The tips of wires 

have

to predude no more than 0,5mm.
