This product is capable of delivering sounds at loud volumes and high pitched tones. 

Exposure to loud volumes and high pitched tones may result in permanent hearing loss or 

hearing damage. The volume level may vary based on conditions, such as the phone used, its 

reception and volume settings, and the environment. Avoid prolonged use of the product at 

a high volume. Please read the Safety Guidelines below prior to using this product.

•  Before using the product, turn the volume control to its lowest level.

•  Put on the headset, if applicable.

•  Slowly adjust the volume control to a comfortable level.

•   Keep the volume at the lowest level possible and avoid using the product in noisy 

environments where you may be inclined to turn up the volume.

•  If increased volume is necessary, adjust the volume control slowly.

•  Ringing in the ears may indicate that the sound levels are too high.

•  If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, immediately discontinue using 

the product and consult a physician.

•  Stop using the product if it causes great discomfort.

With continued use at a high volume your ears may become accustomed to the sound 

level, which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable 

discomfort. Using the product while operating a motor vehicle, motorcycle, watercraft 

or bicycle may be dangerous, and is illegal in some jurisdictions. Check your local laws. 

Caution is recommended when using your product while engaging in any activity that 

requires your full attention. While engaging in any such activity, removing the product 

from your ear, if applicable, or turning off your product will keep you from being 

distracted, so as to avoid accident or injury. 

•  The battery used in the product may present a fire risk or chemical burn if mistreated.

•  Do not attempt to replace the battery, unless otherwise stated in the manual.

•  Do not disassemble the charger as it may cause electrical shock.

•  When disconnecting the charger, pull the plug, not the cord.

•  Do not use the charger outdoors or in damp areas.

•  If the product is powered by a rechargeable battery, full performance of the 

battery is achieved after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles.

•  Recharge the battery only with the charger designated for the product. Use of 

another battery or charger may damage or destroy the product and will invalidate 

the warranty.

•  A fully-charged battery may lose its charge over time.

•  Exposing the product to hot or cold temperatures may reduce the capacity and 

lifetime of the battery.

•  Charge the product according to the instructions supplied with the product.

•  Some products cannot be used when charging.

•  Unplug the product during extreme weather, or when the product is not used for 

long periods of time.

•  Keep out of reach of children. This package contains small parts that may be 

hazardous to children.

•  Do not dismantle, or push objects into the product. Doing so may cause short 

circuits which could result in a fire or electric shock. 

•  Only authorized dealers or service centers may repair, open or dismantle the 

product. If any parts of the product require replacement contact your local dealer.

•  Avoid exposing the headset to moisture, rain, or other liquids.

•  Keep the product and its cords away from operating machinery.

•  Protect the cord from being damaged or pinched.

•  If the product overheats, is dropped or damaged, has a damaged cord or plug, or is 

immersed in a liquid, immediately discontinue use and contact GN.

•  In dry or low humidity, caution is recommended when using the product with a 

computer using a CRT monitor. Unplug the product before turning the monitor off 

to prevent electrostatic discharge.

•  If you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical product, consult your physician 

before using the product.

•  Observe all signs that require an electrical product or RF radio to be switched off.

•  Do not use in areas with explosive hazards.

•  Dispose of the product, battery or charger according to local regulations.

•  Unplug the product or charger before cleaning.

•  Clean the product by wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The cord and 

charger may only be dry-dusted.

•  Avoid exposing the product or charger to moisture or liquids.
