With the emphasis on convenience, the
VT46 projector provides all the essential
functions with high performance, reasonably
priced "Easy-to-Use" operation.
Thanks to the short focus lens, the throwing distance for a 60-inch screen is 1.8 meters and
3.0 meters for a 100-inch screen. With short projection distances, presentations with a large-
sized screen are possible without removing desks and chairs, even where space is limited.
The Direct Keys for Video, S-Video, and RGB let users switch
between sources with the touch of a button and are located
on the operation panel on the top of the unit. LED displays
are located under the corresponding Direct Keys buttons so
that users can monitor incoming signals at a glance. The
ports for the respective image sources are on the rear panel
and users can easily identify the proper cables to be
connected with the respective ports. Furthermore, the
Video, S-Video, and RGB input ports have each been
equipped with independent audio input ports.
The Colour Correction function corrects image colours according to the
image source, such as presentations or movies. The optimum colour tone
for the projected images can also be selected. The VT projectors support
the white-balance function, which provides optimum colour reproducibility
by adjusting the white/black levels of input signals, and the Gamma
Correction (for gradation reproducibility) feature provides sharp, clear
images even in the dark sections. The adjusted values can be saved in
memory on the equipment.
The Key Lock function disables the operation buttons so the unit can only be operated via the
remote control. A keyword can be set for your projector to avoid operation by an
unauthorised user using the Menu. When a keyword is set, turning on the projector will
display the keyword input screen. Unless the correct keyword is entered, the projector cannot
project an image.
