Appendix
“B’s Recorder GOLD5” (hereafter, B’s Recorder) and “B’s CLiP” are CD recording software
applications developed by B.H.A Corporation.
Here, explanations are given on general information about B’s Recorder and B’s CLiP and how
to access the online manual.  Refer to the online manual concerning the detailed use of the
software application (
 page 40).
Applicable Media
CD-R* (one-time recordable CD media)
CD-RW (rewritable CD media)
* Applicable only for B’s Recorder. It cannot be used for B’s CLiP.
B’s Recorder/B’s CLiP
CAUTION
You cannot eject the disc by using the open lever of the drive while 
 is displayed on the
taskbar. To eject the disc in this case, select 
 with the right button and select [Eject].
Do not eject discs in any other way except the one described above.
When formatting a disc with B’s CLiP, select 
 or 
 with the right button and to select
[Format]. Do not select [My computer].
After formatting the disc, eject it then re-insert before using it.
When settings are changed using the following method, only a user with administrator
authority can make the settings:
Select the DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive icon or the B’s CLiP icon on the taskbar with
the right button, and select [Properties] - [B’s CLiP Page Settings].
Be sure to shut down B's Recorder before logging off Windows.
When [Create from standard bootable disk image] was chosen by [Properties]-[Track
Information] of a track at the time of creation of bootable CD, if 2-byte characters, such
as Chinese characters, were contained in the file or folder written in simultaneously,
those file or folder may be unable to be accessed.
Do not use a 2-byte character for the file or folder which are written in bootable CD.
Windows XP
Do not use the Fast User Switching function.
If this function is used, 
 or 
 will no longer be shown on the user taskbar after the
switching is complete.  (If this happens, return to the original user without using the
Fast User Switching function, and then log on with the user you want to use.)
Do not add the check mark for [Enable CD recording on this drive] in [Properties] -
[Recording] of the DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive.
Windows 2000
When you re-install Windows Media Player 7, do not install “Adaptec CD-Burning
Plug-in.”
Running B’s Recorder/B’s CLiP
B’s Recorder
Windows XP
Select [start] - [All Programs] - [B.H.A] - [B’s Recorder GOLD5] - [B’s Recorder GOLD5]
or select 
 on the desktop.
Windows 2000
 Select [Start] - [Programs] - [B.H.A] - [B’s Recorder GOLD5] - [B’s Recorder GOLD5] or
select 
 on the desktop.
B’s CLiP
B’s CLiP runs when the computer starts up, and 
 or 
 is displayed on the taskbar.
About Copies
When writing to discs, make sure that you are not infringing any copyrights.
It is illegal to copy audio CDs for non-personal use.
When backing up software, make sure that you are not infringing any software copyrights
for that product.
