Thunderbird Draft Guide V284-1103 

  On rear of Thunderbird locate the pairing push button as marked

  Go to Notes app & check typing input 

 

The Thunderbird will snap fit to the Front & Rear of the included protective case. 

 

The case offers a rail system to easy slide the Keyboard on the front of the iPhone. 

 

The back rail system offers a Thunderbird storage location when not in use. 

 

A glass screen protector is included to be fitted to the iPhone using the Thunderbird. 

 

If you already have a screen protector fitted then keep the provided one as a spare. 

If fitting the supplied screen protector then follow the fitting instructions. 

Single depression of Fn key sets next character to a symbol then reverts back to normal input.  

Fast double depression of the Fn key sets and locks input to numerical and symbol only. 

A fast double depression sets the Fn lock OFF mode. 

Single depression of Shift key sets next input to capitalise then reverts to normal input. 

Fast double depression of the Shift key sets and locks character input to all capitalise input. 

A fast double depression sets the Shift lock OFF. 

 

The Thunderbird contains a rechargeable battery and a USB charging cable. 

 

Charge the Thunderbird using any USB charging port. 

 

On connecting to a USB port a Red light will be on at the most Selfie left key. 

 

Full charge takes around 45 mins with the Red light going to off when finished. 

 

When connected a % battery status in iPhone Notifications is shown (~ 10 seconds). 

 

Low battery at ~ 20% the Blue light will momentarily flash when using. 

Your iPhone unlock P/W   If a numeric p/w, set Function Lock to ON and start with a RETURN key. 

 

The keyboard layout is optimised for US QWERTY layout   Use US English Keyboard on iPhone 

 

Thunderbird snaps on and slides up and down the front of the iPhone supplied case. 

 

The keyboard can act as a remote Selfie Shutter in Camera and Video Mode (up to 10 meters). 

Thunderbird wake-up is by depression of any key. 

 

Fitting the Thunderbird onto the rear lower position of the case will instant sleep Thunderbird. 

 

Removing the Thunderbird from the case rear will wake Thunderbird and connect to iPhone. 

 

If asleep for inactivity, fitted to the rear of case - any key is needed to wakeup on removal. 

If backlight is on an independent 20 second off timer takes place for no keyboard activity.
