3.11.2  Low Band Exciter (LBE) 
 

During the installation procedure, a number of wires/cables must be connected to the LBE 
rear panel. 

 
For a Combined DRU, please refer to Table 3-7 or drawing SX03-22900-02-D06.  The cables 

should be connected in the order that they appear in Table 3-7. 
 

For an Independent DRU, please refer to Table 3-8 or drawing SX03-22900-03-D06.  The 
cables should be connected in the order that they appear in Table 3-8. 
 

 

Any RF cable, which is terminated with a SMA connector, should be 

tightened with a 5/16” torque wrench to avoid over tightening and 
damaging the cable connector or mating connector.
