Due to the application of a high performance CMOS image sensor and the 
enhancement of the color depth from 24 bit to 30 bit, the x1-Scan achieves very 
good scans. The scanning speed is only 1 second at 1800 ppi fine scan. Quick 
connection using USB 2.0; no additional mains adapter required.
