This letter constitutes an official notice from Eicon Networks Corporation on behalf of itself and its 
subsidiaries related to the level of support that Eicon is prepared to provide for the following end of life 
interface products for the Eiconcard product range. The following products are affected: 
 
Eiconcard C90 
Eiconcard C91 
 
Eiconcard S90 
Eiconcard S91 
 
The above mentioned cards will be EOL’ed for the following reasons: 
 

•  EOL of ISDN chip by supplier since 2003 

•  Supply constraints with 5V memory chips

Level 1: One (1) year after EOL date 
Level 2: One (1) year after EOL date 
Level 3: Ends by Dec 31 2004 

 
 

Support for EOL cards will be on the following software versions only: 
 

•  V5R7 Connections for Windows – NT, W2000, XP, W2003 

•  V4R4 Connections for Linux 

•  V3R6 Connections for UNIX - SCO 5.0.7 UnixWare 7.1.3 

 
Continued availability will exist for the following software; however no additional / new cards will be 
supported 

•  Connections for Win98 / ME – no change, no new card support 

•  DOS – no change no new cards to be supported 

•  OS/2 – no change no new cards to be supported 

•  SNA Gateway – no change no new cards to be supported
