Question
Answer
Why does water flow out of
the sterilizer?
You may have poured too much water into the sterilizer. Do not
pour more than 3.4 fl. oz. (100 ml) water in the water reservoir.
Why are there white spots in
the water reservoir, the
baskets or the lid?
Scale build-up is normal and occurs more quickly in hard water
areas. Descale the appliance regularly (see chapter ‘Descaling’).
Why does a lot of steam
escape from under the lid?
Check if the lid has been placed on the basket properly.
Why does the sterilization
process take so long?
You may have poured too much water into the sterilizer (see
chapter ‘Using the appliance’). The number of items placed in the
baskets and the number of baskets used determine the actual
sterilization time.
Why is the sterilization process
so short?
You may have poured too little water into the sterilizer (see
chapter ‘Using the appliance’).
Why does the appliance start
to heat up immediately when I
plug it in?
You have pressed the power-on button before you plugged the
appliance into the electrical outlet. When you press the
power-on button before you put the plug in the outlet, the
sterilizer starts operating immediately when you plug it in.
