Vehicle Installation and Operation
An activated RT‐200 is placed in the vehicle on the driver’s side visor or hanging from the rearview
mirror. Before installation, the operator will scan the RT‐200 barcode into the car management
software system, associating the vehicle with the RT‐200.

System Operation
RT‐200
1)
Vehicle movement detected with accelerometer in the RT‐200.

The RT‐200 monitors its accelerometer and detects vehicle has parked.
3)
The RT‐200 acquires it’s location with the GPS receiver.
4)
The RT‐200 transmits a control message to the Gateway indicating that it has moved.
The RT‐200 also transmits it’s serial number and GPS coordinates.
Transmission lasts 4.8 seconds.

The RT‐200 transmits a control message to the Gateway indicating that the event that the
RT‐200 has not changed location within a defined time period (1 day).
