Our cleverly designed self-enclosed single

aluminium speaker box avoids a common and

irritating problem for the audio purist – the

noise that occurs between the front and rear

parts of normal speaker components.

Separated from the main unit, this system

delivers high fidelity enhanced by a new

stainless steel speaker net.

This perforated metal net has approximately

double the aperture ratio of previous models,

ensuring greater flow for the sound quality

that makes the Titanium Series best in its class.

1-Bit audio

The purity of the picture is equalled by the

purity of sound that can only come from our

unique 1-Bit amplifier technology.

This uses high speed sampling – sixty four

times faster than CD – and purely digital

processing for dramatic improvements in

density and resolution.

The result is sound quality that’s

exceptionally faithful to the original.

Each Titanium widescreen LCD TV is

equipped with a Virtual Dolby Digital decoder.*

The superior picture with this series of Aquos

also comes from its Black TFT LCD panel and

unique technologies, including all-digital signal

processing for high image quality and enhanced

colour management.

A newly developed high performance filter

makes the colours stunning – while the high

brightness of 450 cd/m

and up to 800:1

contrast ratio gives a vivid picture with rich 

black tones.

High speed moving images are also

reproduced cleanly and clearly, using our Quick

Shoot technology to reduce visual lag.

By combining all of these technologies, the

new Titanium Series screen achieves a picture

quality that is absolutely stunning.

The best in any light, from
every angle

The low reflectivity construction of the

screen means the flicker-free picture remains

perfect in direct sun or brightly lit rooms – glare

and reflectivity being virtually eliminated.

And thanks to our Advanced Super View

(ASV), the screen can be viewed at ultra 

wide angles of up to 170° horizontally or

vertically. Resolution, luminance and focus all

remain constant. 

So, it doesn’t matter where anyone chooses

to sit in the room, they will always be able to

enjoy Aquos to the full.

In offering a choice of viewing pleasure, the

Aquos Titanium Series is nothing if not versatile.

Every model in the range has a built-in

iDTV, Freeview, digital tuner.

Which means they all give access to the current

comprehensive choice of free-to-air TV channels.

Multi-media compatible

Courtesy of the integral PC card slot,

tucked neatly out of sight, you can slip in a

wide choice of cards.

Including HDD card, SD card, Multi Media

card, Compact Flash, xD Picture card, Memory

Stick and Micro Drive.

Every model in the Titanium Series

combines the world’s highest resolution picture

for its class, with a true 16:9 aspect ratio.

The 45" model incorporates an incredible

6.22 million pixels – compared with the mere

3.15 million found on a typical 50" plasma TV.

That’s a massive improvement, and it shows

in the performance with precise pictures and

natural images without distortion. 

It also displays just how far we’ve come with

over three decades of continuous development
