printed documents into easily shared electronic files. The highly portable 17.8oz. Ambir

DS487 scanner provides high-resolution duplex scanning with a conveniently small

footprint and high-speed USB 2.0 interface. Scan both sides up to 6 pages per minute

at 600dpi and 24-bit color, without the need for an external power source.

The DS487's enhanced durability affords efficient and reliable performance during

travel or in frequent-use environments. Its easy-to-use manual feeder accepts a wide

range of materials up to 1mm in thickness, including cardstock, glossy paper,

laminated materials, insurance cards and driver’s licenses.* Complementary

accessories include a carrying case and a footed riser for added convenience.

The DS487 comes with AmbirScan, Ambir’s powerful imaging software. AmbirScan

features support for PDF, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and now TIFF extensions. Fixed file locations

let you set a default save location for your scans. AmbirScan also has a recently

enhanced user interface.
