Based on Super Talent’s fast, highly reliable, NAND Flash
chips, our mini-SATA has been acquired as a JEDEC
standard MO-300B. Utilizing a SATA II interface this SSD is
unique in its mini PCIe form factor. The mSATA MO-300B is
ideal for drives that are around the size of a business card,
but not to be fooled by its size, the mSATA is far from a
slacker when it comes to speed and performance. The
mSATA supports transfer rates of up to 3.0 Gb/s making
it archetypal for Military/Aerospace, Casino, and Industrial
Medical applications to name a few. Most importantly the
new mSATA requires less energy and leaves up to half the
footprint of its predecessor in SATA.
