experience by integrating wireless and wired connectivity into a small unit and PoE power
supply. The new NWA1300-NJ is capable of replacing traditional network outlet cabling and
can be quickly installed discretely into the wall box. In addition, the IT administrators can
centrally manage thousands of network devices with much less operating cost using ZyXEL’s
Enterprise Network Center (ENC) network management software.

Electrical outlet design for elegant guest room interior
The NWA1300-NJ features an “electrical outlet box” design to provide flexibility for hotel WLAN
deployments. With the built-in Ethernet port, it offers wired network to guests in addition to the
wireless connectivity as well. The NWA1300-NJ also provides a phone port for interior designers to
utilise the conventional phone network.
Utilising Ethernet network to save deployment cost
Eliminating the needs for AC power adapters, the PoE support of NWA1300-NJ makes it easier than
ever for hotels to overcome installation difficulties, as ZyXEL’s PoE switches and other 802.3af
standard-based PoE devices can transmit power and data to the NWA1300-NJ simultaneously
through CAT-5 Ethernet cables to provide flexible installation options for locations that are difficult
to lay standard wires.
