Our 4Gb/s Fibre Channel adapter series was devised to fulfill virtually any
storage connection need or environment, whether data mining, video and
media streaming, or high availability. These adapters were engineered to
deliver unsurpassed performance, high port density, easy installation and
can accommodate both PCI-X and PCI Express host platforms. Each adapter
features full duplex capable FC ports, that automatically detect connection
speed, and can each independently operate at 1, 2 or 4Gb/s. The ability
to operate at slower speeds ensures these adapters remain fully compatible
with legacy equipment. All adapters also support new end-to-end error
detection (CRC) for improved data integrity when reading or writing disks.
The ANSI T10 committee developed and endorses this new protection standard.
