EDGE™ Boost Pro Enterprise Solid State Drives (SSDs) are designed as

an enterprise level replacement solution for traditional spinning disk

hard drives. The result is a faster, lighter, more durable, and more

reliable solution primed to replace outdated hard drives. Boost SSDs

are both PC and Mac compatible and will work in almost any com-

puter or server with a SATA interface.

Using Enterprise MLC (eMLC) flash, the Boost Pro Enterprise SSD

provides up to 10x greater flash endurance than MLC flash. Power

Loss support protects against data loss in the event of system power

failure—an essential function for servers and mission critical applica-

tions. SSDs without power loss protection are prone to corruption or

complete failure if a system suddenly loses power. An enterprise level

SandForce 2582 controller provides drive enhancements while ultra

fast read and write speeds are achieved. Exceptional speeds, coupled

with a high max IOPS rating, provide excellent performance gains in

boot times, file transfers, and software application loading.

Security is a critical feature of the Boost Pro Enterprise SSD, featuring

256-bit AES hardware encryption that secures 100% of data when

enabled.** The feature rich-SandForce controller comes standard

with robust tools such as S.M.A.R.T., Garbage Collection, wear level-

ing, and ECC to promote stability and reliability. SandForce-exclusive

functions— Durawrite and RAISE—further enhance data efficiency

and increase the lifespan of the SSD.
