The pcProx 13.56 MHz product line meets a variety of needs in multiple situations. These contactless smart card reader

products leverage current HID iCLASS and NXP MIFARE badge investments, as well as existing control systems while 

expanding technologies and applications with a single badge solution.

This ready-to-use, Playback Starter Kit provides everything needed to use smart cards with existing applications and

embedded controllers. The kit includes a pcProx Writer, pcProx Playback Reader, pcProx Card Manager software

and sample cards. 

The kit solves computer access control issues by providing access to existing back-end server infrastructures and building 

access investments through contactless smart cards without adding software to the client or server. The costs associated 

with training, pilot tests, software licenses, upgrades, incompatibilities are negligible since no software is deployed.

WaveID™ is the standard that enables badge-based reader solutions throughout the workplace. It gives a name to the many badge-based authentication and identification 

solutions powered by RF IDeas readers. In today’s business environment, most employees carry badges for building access. WaveID in action is both the physical place for 

employees to wave their badge for identification, as well as a visual cue that an RF IDeas reader powers a specific device or solution.
