Windows XP/2000 

1.  Right click My Network Places and select Properties 

2.  Double-click on the Local Area Connection icon and click 

Properties. 

3.  Click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and select Properties. 

4.  Select Obtain an IP Address Automatically. 

5.  Select Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically. 

6.  Click OK.

Click on the “Start” button located on the lower left corner of the menu 
bar. 

Select “Settings” and then “Control panel.” 

In the “Control panel” window, select “Network” to enter the TCP/IP 
settings window. 

1.  Set “IP address” to “Obtain an IP address automatically.” 

2.  Set “DNS” to “Disable DNS.”
