RSA SECURID AUTHENTICATOR OPTIONS

The RSA SecurID system is one of the world’s leading two-

factor user authentication solutions. With the broadest

range of easy-to-use form factors, there is an RSA SecurID

authenticator to suit every organization.

HARDWARE AUTHENTICATORS

The RSA SecurID hardware token comes in a variety of

convenient models that all generate and display new codes

every 60 seconds. The RSA SecurID SD600 and SID700 models

are key fob styles that offer extreme durability in a reliable

and portable form. The original RSA SecurID hardware

token, the RSA SD200, is a credit card-sized device that

provides the same excellent performance guaranteed from

every RSA SecurID authenticator. The RSA SecurID SD520

PINpad model resembles the SD200 with a PINpad feature

that enables users to encrypt their passcode for a higher

level of security. The newest member of the family is the

RSA SecurID SID800; it offers the one-time password

functionality of the others as well as added functionality

through a built-in USB connector and smartchip. This device

can be used to generate one-time-use tokencodes as well as

for storage of Windows

username / password credentials

and digital certificates. Additionally, when connected, the

RSA SecurID SID800 token offers its users the ability to read

a tokencode directly from the device, eliminating the need

for typing.

SOFTWARE AUTHENTICATORS

RSA SecurID software tokens use the same algorithms as the

industry-leading RSA SecurID hardware tokens. The software

application functions like an RSA SecurID SD520 PINPad card

and provides the added benefit of automated access to pro-

tected web sites through a standard browser interface.

RSA SecurID software tokens eliminate the need for users to

carry dedicated hardware devices and allow them to authen-

ticate using familiar interfaces. RSA SecurID software tokens

are available for Microsoft

Windows

workstations, PDAs

(including the Palm, Pocket PC and Blackberry devices),

Windows Mobile 2003 devices and on wireless phones from

Nokia, Ericsson and DoCoMo.

RSA SecurID authenticators have been designed to take

advantage of the industry-standard AES (Advanced

Encryption Standard) algorithm. Customers enjoy the

integrity and assurance of quality provided by using the

AES algorithm.

The RSA SecurID software token supports qualified

smart cards or USB authenticators. The RSA 5200 Smart

Card and the RSA 6100 USB Authenticator can store the

RSA SecurID symmetric key and is PIN protected. These

devices also store digital credentials and support single

sign-on with RSA
