Control website authoring permissions
and content approval workflows
With Adobe Contribute 4, site administrators
can ensure that only authorized contributors
can update specified website content. Fine-
grained permissions let administrators define
who can edit a website or specific content on
a page within a website. Or limit certain users
to “edit only, no publish” to ensure appropriate
content approval workflows. If required,
administrators can also roll back to a previous
version of the web page with just a few mouse
clicks. And when Adobe Contribute 4 is
deployed with Adobe Contribute Publishing
Server (CPS), administrators can easily add
and define permissions based on their defined
roles in enterprise directory sources, such
as LDAP or Active Directory.
Help users within the organization
get started with blogging
Adobe Contribute 4 makes it easy for site
administrators to get users started with
blogging—using the same familiar
environment they use to update website
content. Work offline; then publish when
ready—and never lose content due to a lost
connection or browser ‘Back’ button. Easily
add tags to blog entries without messy
HTML coding, and use any tag repository
to help other users find the blog content.
With Adobe Contribute 4, users can post
to multiple blogs from a single application,
saving time and money. Plus, multiple users
can simultaneously post new content to the
same blog, improving content freshness.
