Liability 
Datamax-O’Neil cannot be held responsible if safety instructions and, generally speaking, 
basic safety rules for using and servicing these products are not followed. 
 
Any modifications carried out may be counter to product compliance and the relevant safety 
standards. Therefore, Datamax-O’Neil cannot be held liable for any malfunction or damage caused 
by any modification unless recommended by Datamax-O’Neil, or for any incident arising from use of 
the product for any purposes other than those for which it is designed. It is the sole responsibility of 
the user to take the required precautions. 
 
Use  
Only use Datamax-O’Neil original spare parts and consumables (ribbon, cleaning products, 
servicing products). 
 
Other types of consumables should not be used without Datamax-O’Neil’s written approval, and any 
consequences shall be under the entire responsibility of the user. 
 
Servicing 
Always unplug the printer from the electrical outlet before performing any maintenance. 
 
Use appropriate tools for any work on the electrical circuits. 
 
We recommend that the repairs be carried out by persons who have been given the technical 
training proposed by Datamax-O’Neil. 
 
 
 
CAUTION 
 
Lithium Battery: There is a danger of explosion or fire if the battery is incorrectly 
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the 
manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
