The VZ-3 and VZ-3s Visualizers 
can be connected to a compu-
ter using the fast USB 2.0 port 
together with the WolfVision 
Connectivity Software or a WIA, 
Twain or video capture driver. The 
supplied Connectivity 2 Software 
allows for saving still images and 
videos onto a PC or Mac, cont-
rolling the unit, updating the firm-
ware, adding annotations, instant 
printing of screenshots and even 
streaming live images over a net-
work.
USB Device Port/Connectivity Software
Firmware updates allow new 
features and technical improve-
ments to be added at no cost! 
Downloading firmware updates 
from the internet and uploading 
them onto a Visualizer can be 
completed in 2-3 minutes, using 
the latest version of WolfVision‘s 
Connectivity Software. Firmware 
updates can be made using the 
LAN or USB port of the Visualizer. 
WolfVision engineers are cons-
tantly working on new features 
and improvements to keep your 
units up to date with the techno-
logy of tomorrow. 
Firmware Updates
During a presentation, the Extern 
key of the Visualizer can be used 
to switch between Visualizer ima-
ges and computer images from a 
PC that is connected to the ex-
ternal input of the Visualizer. The-
re is no need to use a separate 
remote control from a projector or 
monitor in order to switch image 
sources.

RS-232
The VZ-3 and VZ-3s can be 
controlled from external devices, 
such as a room control system, 
a videoconferencing system or a 
computer via USB and LAN con-
nections. Older devices with Seri-
al RS232 port can be connected 
using a Serial-LAN adapter from 
other manufacturers. The func-
tionality of the LAN port is limited 
to controlling and Firmware up-
dates.
