Wireless Standard

ZyXEL G-270S is a wireless USB adapter compatible with IEEE 802.11g

wireless standard. Using ZyXEL’s wireless Super G technology with other

compatible ZyXEL wireless Super G devices, the ZyXEL G-270S is capable of

transmitting at up to 108Mbps - twice the speed of the standard IEEE

802.11g. For easy and efficient setup, you can connect the ZyXEL G-270S to

either a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port to conveniently access network resources (such

as the Internet).

Enhanced Wireless Security

In addition to basic 64/128/152-bit WEP data encryption, ZyXEL wireless

network adapters feature the latest, enhanced wireless security mechanisms

such as Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2), WPA, and 802.1x authentication.

These enhanced security features better control user network access and

thus further protect your data from being tapped during wireless

transmission.

Ease-of-Use

The ZyXEL G-270S is designed with user-friendliness in mind. With ZyXEL’s

exclusive One Touch Intelligent Security Technology (OTIST), now you can
