IntelliJack
®
Switch NJ240FX quickly converts a single,
two-fiber multimode LAN wall outlet into four 10/100 Mbps switched
ports, significantly lowering installation costs and minimizing business
disruption. The IntelliJack Switch NJ240FX features a unique, in-the-wall
design that provides all the capabilities of a fully managed, enterprise-
class switch—including traffic prioritization for converged applications,
virtual LANs (VLANs) and MAC address filtering.

The Switch NJ240FX can be managed centrally by industry-standard
platforms such as 3Com Network Supervisor. The switch comes with
its own internal power supply and can forward 8 watts of power to a
downstream Power over Ethernet (PoE) device. A pass-through connector
provides an additional, physically separate voice or data connection.
