AXIS P7216 Video encoder offers powerful, full-featured and efficient integration of analog

cameras into an IP-based video surveillance system and is ideal for small to medium-sized in-

stallations, within retail for example.

AXIS P7216 Video Encoder enables a cost-effective way
to gain all the benefits of professional network video
without discarding existing analog investments.

The

video encoders offer advanced network capabilities with
great video performance and excellent audio quality.

AXIS P7216 can be used as a standalone unit or be
mounted in a 19" rack. The 16-channel video encoder
offers one H.264 and one Motion JPEG stream per chan-
nel at full frame rate in all resolutions up to D1 (720x480
NTSC or 720x576 PAL). A single Ethernet port serves all
16 channels. The encoder is also equipped with an SFP

slot, which enables the use of fiber optics. The SFP slot
also provides the possibility for network redundancy.

AXIS P7216 offers intelligent video capabilities such
as video motion detection, active tampering alarm and
two-way audio with audio detection.

The encoder

offers a convenient video management solution with
its built-in four memory card slots for edge storage.
AXIS P7216 comes with a power supply.

All Axis video encoder products also provide pan, tilt and
zoom support, enabling control of analog PTZ cameras.
