Pole Mount Bracket
The MIC pole mount bracket (MIC-PMB) is designed to
work with a shallow conduit adapter (MIC-SCA) and a
wall mount bracket (MIC-WMB) to allow MIC Series
cameras to be mounted on lamp posts, scaffolding,
and other nonstandard mounting posts. The pole
mount bracket is machined from clear anodized
aluminum and has with two large worm drive clips for
attachment to a wide range of pole diameters.
Spreader Plate
The MIC spreader plate (MIC-SPR) is designed to work
with a deep conduit adapter (MIC-DCA), or with the
shallow conduit adapter (MIC-SCA) and the wall
mount bracket (MIC-WMB), to allow MIC Series
cameras to be mounted securely to flat surfaces with
either an external conduit adapter or by feeding the
cable through a hole in the mounting surface. The MIC-
SPR is manufactured from aluminum plate and powder
coated to the same standard as the MIC Series
cameras. An unpainted stainless steel version is also
available.
Deep Conduit Adapter
The MIC deep conduit adapter (MIC-DCA) is designed
to allow a weatherproof conduit to be fitted to protect
the MIC composite cable. The MIC-DCA has sufficient
room to allow the composite cable connecter to
connect to the MIC camera foot. The MIC-DCA is
machined from solid aluminum and provides a 4 in
pitched circle diameter (PCD) mounting position for
the MIC camera. An O-ring and an optional Nebar
gasket provide a watertight seal to protect the
electrical connectors on the camera base and the
composite cable connector. The MIC-DCA has two 25
mm holes for conduit or cable glands to be fitted, one
in the base and one side entry. A plug with O-ring is
provided to seal the unused hole.
Shallow Conduit Adapter
The MIC shallow conduit adapter (MIC-SCA) is
designed to work with a wall mount bracket (MIC-
WMB) and a pole mount bracket (MIC-PMB), or with a
spreader plate (MIC-SPR), to allow MIC Series
cameras to be mounted to flat walls or lamp posts,
scaffolding, and other nonstandard mounting posts.
The MIC-SCA has a single 25 mm side entry conduit
fitting hole. There is not sufficient room inside to allow
the camera to be mounted to it directly. (Use a MIC-
DCA instead.) The MIC-SCA is machined from solid
aluminum or stainless steel and provides a 4 in
pitched circle diameter (PCD) mounting position for a
MIC-WMB. An O-ring provides for a watertight seal to
protect the composite cable.
MIC440 Sunshield
The MIC440 Sunshield is designed to provide
additional protection against direct solar radiation by
reflecting solar exposure and creating an insulating
gap between the environment and the surface of the
camera. It is a two (2) part molding and comes with
four (4) stainless steel screws. To tighten the screws,
a 5 mm hex wrench is required, but not supplied.
MIC Sunshield for MIC612 and MIC412
The MIC Sunshield for thermal cameras is designed to
provide additional protection against direct solar
radiation, particularly in sunny climates. It is a two (2)
part molding and comes with:
• eight (8) stand-offs, with knurled tattoo grip along the
edge of one end, of 316 stainless steel (for MIC612)
• eight (8) stand-offs, of 316 stainless steel (for
MIC412)
• eight (8) pan-head M3 washers, of 316 stainless steel
• eight (8) M3 retaining screws, 10 mm, of 316
stainless steel
MIC-USB485CVTR Converter
The MIC Series USB to RS485 signal converter is a
compact unit that allows a PC without a serial port to
connect directly to the MIC Series cameras via the
telemetry connector in MIC Series power supplies. The
converter is connected in 4-wire two-way mode (Full
Duplex), in 2-wire two-way mode (Half Duplex), or in
2-wire one-way mode (Simplex). The converter allows
connection between MIC cameras and either the
Bosch Universal Camera Setup Software (“Cam-set”)
(for MIC models 400AL, 400IR, 400ST, 412, 440, and
500) or Bosch’s Configuration Tool for Imaging
Devices (CTFID) software (for MIC550, MIC550IR,
MIC612); each software application provides full
control of all camera setup and operation functions.
The converter and CamSet software are supplied with
every MIC Series camera prior to model MIC550, but
are also available separately. For models MIC550 and
later, the converter is an available accessory; CTFID is
available for download from www.boschsecurity.com.
Biphase Converters
The MIC Biphase converter cards allow up to eight
MIC Series cameras to be interfaced with Bosch
Biphase compatible equipment. The card translates
Bosch Biphase protocol to RS485, half duplex
telemetry signals. It also allows the camera address to
be set through its integrated DIP switch selector.
The MIC-BP3 has its own enclosure with its own power
supply. This enables it to be used by MIC Series power
supplies that do not have an available expansion slot.
The MIC-BP4 is a plug-in card that fits into an available
expansion slot within a non-infrared MIC Series power
supply unit.
MIC-ALM Alarm and Washer Pump Drive Card
The 8 Input Alarm Card (MIC-ALM) is designed to work
with a MIC Series power supply with a free expansion
slot. The MIC-ALM provides MIC Series cameras with
eight alarm inputs, a washer pump drive function with
test/pump priming capability and two additional relays
which can be configured to operate external
equipment when an alarm signal is received. The card
