The portable A 200 p DAC/headphone amplifier can be connected
to smartphones, tablets or computers for producing and amplifying
a detailed digital audio signal without loss.  
The integrated Wolfson WM8740 digital/analogue converter with
a sample rate of 96 kHz/24 bit ensures the finest resolution and
outstanding sound quality.
The A 200 p supports iPhone 5, iPad Air, iPad (4

th

generation), 

iPad mini and iPod touch (5

th

generation) and most smartphones

with Android 4.1 or higher, which have a digital USB audio output.

In order to charge the integrated rechargeable battery the A 200 p 
is connected via USB to a USB charger or computer where it is 
possible to listen to the music while charging over the computer. 
The maximum operating time of a fully charged battery is 11 hours. 
With the fine volume control made of aluminium the volume can 
digitally be set in 135 steps. An integrated software-controlled 
volume limit according to EN 50332-2 (with EU version* only) avoids
hearing damage when listening over longer periods. With the lock
function of the on-off switch the selected volume cannot accidentally
be changed when the A 200 p is put into a trouser or jacket pocket. 
The supplied leather case also allows the A 200 p to be worn on a
belt or attaching to a smartphone.
