DRY CONTACT APPLICATION (USING JUMPER WIRE)

The dry contact system enables the operation of the air conditioner indoor unit to be controlled by using external dry contacts
(with non voltage) such as card-key controller or window for facilities such as hotels.

Note:
1) Dry contact function will be selected when jumper wire JP1 is “disconnected”.
2) Select whether to disconnect or not to disconnect jumper wire JP2.
i) Do not disconnect jumper wire JP2 if the type of Dry Contact switch to be used (for the CARD KEY UNIT or Window) is of
contact type a (Normally Open Type).
ii) Disconnect jumper wire JP2 if the type of Dry Contact switch to be used (for the CARD KEY UNIT or Window) is of contact
type b (Normally Close Type).
