Timers and clock
11.1
Sleeptimer
With the sleep timer, you can set the TV to switch to standby
automatically after a preset time.
To set the sleep timer . . .
1 - Press 
 and select Setup* and press OK.
*Professional Mode : Off

2 - Select 
TV settings* > General settings* > Sleep timer.
*Professional Mode : Off 
 TV settings > General settings
*Professional Mode: On 
 Select Sleep timer.
With the slider bar you can set the time to up to 240 minutes in
increments of 30 minutes. If set to 
Off, the sleep timer is
switched off. You can always switch off your TV earlier or reset
the time during the countdown.
3 - Press 
, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.
11.2
Clock
To know what time it is, press 
CLOCK on the remote control.
In some countries, digital broadcasts do not send UTC -
Coordinated Universal Time information. The daylight saving
change might be ignored and the TV might show an incorrect
time.
To correct the TV clock . . .
1 - Professional Mode: Off 
 Press  and select Setup and
press 
OK.
Professional Mode: On 
 Enter the Professional Home Menu.
2 - Select 
TV settings > General settings > Clock  > Auto
clock mode, and select Country dependent.
3 - Select 
Daylight saving and select the appropriate setting.
4 - Press 
, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu. 
To set the TV clock manually . . .
1 - Professional Mode: Off 
 Press  and select Setup and
press 
OK.
Professional Mode: On 
 Enter the Professional Home Menu.
2 - Select 
TV settings > General settings > Clock  > Auto
clock mode, and select Manual.
3 - Select 
Day and Time to adjust.
4 - Press 
, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.
11.3
Switch off timer
If you do not press a key on the remote control during a 4 hour
period, or if the TV receives no input signal nor remote control
commands for 10 minutes, the TV switches off automatically to
save energy.
If you use the TV as a monitor or use a digital receiver to watch
TV (a Set-top box - STB) and you do not use the remote
control of the TV, you should deactivate the automatic switch
off.
To deactivate the 
Switch off timer . . .
1 - Professional Mode: Off 
 Press  and select Setup and
press 
OK.
Professional Mode: On 
 Enter the Professional Home Menu.
2 - Select 
TV settings > General settings > Switch off timer
and set the slider bar to 
Off.
3 - Press 
, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.

Alarm
Only available if Professional Mode: On.
An alarm can be set on the TV. The TV can wakeup on a
defined alarm time.
To set the alarm follow following steps:
1 - Press 
 and select Guest menu and press OK.
2 - Select 
Alarm. To set the alarm select On.
3 - Select 
Alarm time and press OK. The time can be changed
by 
 or . Select On to program the alarm time that has been
set.
4 - 
Wakeup volume can be set. Adjust the slider bar to set
the desired volume level.
5 - 
Wakeup tune  can be selected. There are 4 predefined
tunes available to select.
6 - Alternatively a 
Wakeup channel can be selected from the
list. 
Alternatively, alarm time can be set by pressing the 
ALARM
button on the remote control.
