Only a single wire can be attached to each contact (1 - 8) of the terminal strip. If only one S0 bus is plugged in, e.g. to the socket 

 (in the lower illustration), 

then the terminal 

 are not available for creating an external Y bus.

The solution is shown in the next illustration.
