  Then remove the rechargeable battery from the charger and pull the mains plug 
out of the mains socket. 
 
  Let the rechargeable battery and the charger dry and then have them inspected 
by a specialist workshop or dispose of the product environmentally compatibly.
 
•  Ensure that the mains cable is not crushed or damaged by sharp edges. Place 
the mains cable where no one can trip over it.
 
c) Operation
 
•  This charger must only be used to charge rechargeable LiPo or LiFe batteries or 
battery packs with 2 to 6 cells. 
 
  Never charge any other rechargeable batteries (e.g. NiCd or NiMH) or even 
normal batteries. There is great danger of fire or explosion!
 
•  Maintain enough distance from flammable objects. Leave enough distance (at 
least 20 cm) between the charger and the rechargeable battery - never place the 
rechargeable battery on the charger.
 
•  As both the charger and the battery heat up during the charge/discharge proce-
dure, it is necessary to ensure sufficient ventilation. Never cover the charger and/
or the connected rechargeable battery.
 
•  Do not operate the product unattended. Despite a considerable number of 
protective circuits, it is impossible to exclude the possibility of malfunctions or 
problems during the charging process.
 
•  Do not wear any metal or conductive materials, such as jewellery (necklaces, 
bracelets, rings, etc.) while you are working with the charger or batteries at the 
rechargeable battery or charger. 
 
•  Do not leave rechargeable batteries connected to the charger when the charger 
is not needed. Always disconnect the rechargeable battery from the charging 
cable and then the charging cable from the charger. 
 
  Then remove the charger from the mains voltage by pulling the mains plug out of 
the mains socket. Then keep the product in a clean, dry site.
 
•  Never use the charging cable with the rechargeable battery while the charging 
cable is not connected to the charger. Danger of short circuit.
 
•  Only operate the product in moderate climate, never in tropical climate. For more 
information on acceptable environmental conditions, see the chapter „Technical 
Data“.
