Connection and Getting Started

Only dynamic microphones or condenser microphones for phantom power
with 48V may be connected to the input.

Only USB interfaces of computers may be connected to the output.

The 48V phantom power may be activated only if a condenser microphone is
connected. With dynamic microphones, the phantom power must be turned
off, since this can be damaged otherwise.
•  Connect the provided USB cable to the USB output port of the interface.
•   Connect the other end of the USB cable with a suitable USB port on your computer.
•   As soon as the interface is operation-ready, the transparent ring on the XLR connection for the
microphone lights up red.
•  Connect the XLR plug of the microphone with the XLR input of the interface.
•   If you use a condenser microphone, press the 48V button to switch on the phantom power.
The transparent ring on the XLR connection then lights up blue.
•  The microphone volume is adjusted with the knob on the interface.
•   If you wish to use headphones, connect their plug with the headphone jack on the interface.
•  The headphone volume is adjusted with the UP and DOWN buttons.
•  Start your audio software and begin the recording.
•   After use, separate the device safely from your operating system before you disconnect the
USB cable from the USB port.
Maintenance and Care
This device is maintenance-free.
The outside of the microphone interface should only be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth
