The advantages of touch panel

monitors are making them increasingly

popular for use in hospitals, factories,

reception areas and retail shops. With

the FlexScan L362T and L363T-C, EIZO

offers two finger touch panel color LCD

monitors that combine superb image

quality with an elegant design featuring

slim bezels on the top and sides to save

space on the desk or counter. The LCD

panel features the superior color and

clarity that EIZO is famous for, and uses

analog capacitive technology for fast

touch response with extremely long

touch life. Other convenient features

include built-in speakers, digital and

analog inputs, versatile mounting capa-

bility and full regulatory compliance. For

connection with the PC, the L352T-C

comes with a serial port while the

L363T-C has a USB port.

A Touch

of Elegance

The FlexScan L362T and L363T-C owe their excellent touch

performance to analog capacitive technology. The system applies

voltage uniformly across the panel sensor, so when a finger touches

the surface it is able to quickly and precisely calculate the location.

Initial touch down speed is fast, a key factor in user satisfaction,

especially in retail and other high usage environments. Other benefits

include extremely long touch life (minimum 225 million touches),

high optical clarity of 84%, response to human finger only, and an

antibacterial surface.

EIZO refused to allow the addition of touch panel conve-

nience to compromise image quality. The high performance IPS panel

(In-Plain Switching) features 400:1 contrast ratio and 180 cd/m

brightness with vivid colors and sharp, clear images. The viewing

angle is an extremely wide 170

°

 both horizontally and vertically,

with minimal color shift when viewed from the side. An anti-glare

treatment on the touch panel surface prevents annoying screen

reflections.
