Ensure the power cord is connected. Check to make sure the fuse is 
not blown. See page 68.

Ensure the tester is not in SIGNAL I/O or Remote Connect mode, 
page 56.  

When I press the START button the tester will not start 
testing? 

 

The tester must first be in the READY status before a test can be 
started. Ensure the tester displays READY before pressing the 
START button, page 42. 
If “Double Action” is enabled, the START button must be pressed 
within 0.5 seconds after the STOP button is pressed, otherwise the 
tester will not start testing. See the Control Settings section on page 
56.
