If a laser beam hits the eye, close your eyes deliberately and move your head from the beam at once.
If your eyes have been irritated by the laser radiation, do not perform any safety-relevant work anymore, such as 
work with machines, at heights or near high voltages. Do not operate any vehicles anymore until the irritation has 
subsided.
Never point the laser beam at any mirrors or other reflecting surfaces. The uncontrolledly reflected beam may hit 
persons or animals.
Never open the device. Setting and maintenance work must only be performed by trained specialists who are  
familiar with the respective dangers. Improperly performed setting work may cause dangerous laser irradiation.
This product is equipped with a class 2 laser. The scope of 
delivery includes laser warning signs in different languages. If the 
notice sign on the laser is not in your local language, attach the 
corresponding sign to your device.
Caution - if proceeding in a different way or using any other controls than those specified in this manual, you may 
expose yourself to hazardous radiation.
When secure operation is no longer possible, shut off the product and protect it from inadvertent use. Secure opera-
tion is no longer warranted if the product:
-  has visible damage,
-  no longer works properly,
-  was stored under detrimental ambience conditions for an extended period or
-  was subjected to considerable transport strain.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for 
Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, handling of meters must be supervised by trained 
personnel in a responsible manner.
Handle the product with care. Impact, blows or falls from even a low height may damage the product.
Do not switch the meter on immediately after it was taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation 
that forms might destroy your device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before switching it on.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since such materials can become dangerous toys in the 
hands of children.
