Lexmark’s X422 offers powerful print, copy, fax and scan functions, all
combined into one network integrated, high-performance device. Increase
your productivity with fast 22 ppm output for printing and copying, a 50-
sheet automatic document feeder for easy standalone or network colour
scanning, and quick hard and soft copy faxing at up to 33.6 Kbps. By
consolidating the everyday functions of the office environment, the X422
enables you to streamline processes saving time and reducing costs.

It may be small and compact, but the X422 provides the integrated
software functions you expect from much larger multifunction devices. You
can scan to e-mail, scan to FTP, or just simply scan to your PC over the
network using Lexmark’s Scanback utility. Scansoft Paperport SE allows
the seamless integration of colour scans within your favourite applications.
The X422 is also compatible with Lexmark Document Distributor 3.2 (or
greater) for transforming time consuming manual paper paths into digital
document workflow processes.

The Lexmark Drag’n’Print utility allows the printing of PDF files by simply
dragging and dropping the file onto a screen icon, keeping the print file
compressed, reducing network traffic and increasing print speeds of pdf
files - especially advantageous in Citrix environments. The X422 boasts
userfriendly operator panel functions such as entering e-mail addresses or
cancelling jobs by selecting them in the job queue. And with its high yield
single-element cartridges that are easy to install and replace, users can
concentrate on the important things for your business.
