4.  Choose a Password for your file(s) and enter it again in the Confirm field.

 

 

5.  You will then given the opportunity to remove the original file(s). If you click 

“Yes,” only the encrypted version will remain. This will ensure nobody but you 

will be able to open the file or files that you have protected.

 

 

1.  Select “Encrypt” from the Main Menu. 

2.  Locate your encrypted files or folders and click the checkboxes next to the 

items you want to unprotect. Encrypted files can be identified by the date 

stamp in the filename, and the file extension will be “.enc”. 

   

Original File Name: “MyDiary.doc”

Protected File Name:

 

 

3.  After selecting the file(s) you wish to unprotect, click the “Decrypt” button 

and enter the password you used at the time of encryption.
