2. In ACCOUNTS, select add Account. The screen displays your current synchronisation 
settings and a list of your current accounts.
Note: 
In some cases, you may need to obtain account details from network administrator support.  
For example, you may need to know the account’s domain or server address.
3. Select the account type to add.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter the required and optional information about the 
account. Most accounts require a username and password, but the details depend on the 
kind of account and the configuration of the service you are connecting to.
5. Configure the account. Depending on the kind of account, you may be asked to configure 
what kind of data you want to sync to the mobile phone, to name the account, and for other 
details. When you have finished, the account is added to the list in the ACCOUNTS settings 
screen.
Removing an Account
You can remove an account and all information associated with it from your mobile phone, 
including email, contacts, settings, and so on. You cannot, however, remove some accounts, 
such as the first account you signed into on the mobile phone. If you attempt to remove certain 
accounts, be aware that all personal information associated with it will be deleted.
1. On the ACCOUNTS settings screen, select the account type.
2. Select the account you wish to delete.
3. Press   > Remove account.
4. Select Remove account to confirm that you want to remove the account.
Customising Your Account Synchronisation
You can configure background data use and synchronisation options for all the applications on 
your phone. You can also configure what kind of data you synchronise for each account. Some 
applications, such as Contacts and Gmail, can synchronise data from multiple applications. 
Others, such as Calendar, only synchronise data from the first Google account you signed 
into on your phone, or from an account associated specifically with that application. For some 
accounts, synchronising is two-directional; changes that you make to the information on your 
mobile phone are made to the copy of that information on the web. Some accounts only 
support one-way synchronisation; the information on your mobile phone is read-only.
Changing an Account’s Synchronisation Settings
1. On the ACCOUNTS settings screen, select the account type. 
2. Select the account for which you would like to make changes to the synchronisation settings. 
The data and synchronisation screen will open, and a list of the kinds of information the 
account can synchronise will be desplayed.
3. Select or clear the tickbox of information you want to synchronise to the mobile phone.
