Die zusätzlichen Tasten auf der Tastatur werden von aktuellen Windows-
Betriebssystemen (z.B. Windows XP) automatisch unterstützt, es sind keine Treiber
erforderlich. 

• Wenn Sie den PS/2-Adapter verwenden und die Tastatur an eine PS/2-

Tastaturschnittstelle anschließen wollen, so muss der Computer ausgeschaltet
und von der Netzspannung getrennt werden. Gleiches gilt, wenn die Tastatur
abgesteckt werden soll. Andernfalls kann es unter ungünstigen Umständen zur
Beschädigung des Mainboards kommen.

Bei USB-Betrieb ist das Ein- oder Ausstecken auch dann möglich, wenn der
Computer eingeschaltet ist.

• Wenn Ihr Computer mehrere PS/2-Schnittstellen hat, so beachten Sie das

Handbuch zu dem Computer/Mainboard, welche der PS/2-Schnittstellen für eine
Tastatur geeignet ist (purpurfarbene Buchse, siehe oben).

• Die Multimedia-Tasten funktionieren bei aktuellen Windows-Betriebssystemen

ohne zusätzliche Software. Bei anderen Betriebssystemen (z.B. Linux) sind die
Tasten meist ohne Funktion. 

• Platzieren Sie die Tastatur so, dass Sie sie ohne spürbare Anstrengung bedienen

können.

Die Aufstellfüße auf der Unterseite der Tastatur lassen sich herausklappen, um die
Tastatur leicht schräg zu stellen. Dies ermöglicht eine entspanntere Handposition.

Die Tastatur sollte nicht direkt an der Tischkante aufgestellt werden, sondern ca.
5-15cm vom Rand entfernt, wenn möglich.

Der Winkel von Oberarm zu Unterarm sollte etwa 90° betragen; die Hände sollten
mit den Unterarmen eine gerade Linie bilden. Winkeln Sie die Hände nicht zu stark
seitlich oder nach oben/unten ab.

Richten Sie die Tastatur parallel zu Ihrem Oberkörper aus, stellen Sie sie nicht
schräg dazu.

Machen Sie bei längeren Schreibarbeiten eine Pause, in der sich Ihre Hände, Arme
und Gelenke entspannen können. So beugen Sie Schmerzen oder Verspannungen
vor. Gelegentliche Lockerungsübungen helfen dabei zusätzlich.

Zur Reinigung der Tastatur genügt in der Regel ein sauberes, leicht mit warmen
Wasser angefeuchtetes weiches Tuch. Staub kann mit einem sauberen Pinsel und
einem Staubsauger sehr leicht entfernt werden.
Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel, dabei könnte der Kunststoff
angegriffen werden (Verfärbungen).

Sie sollten den Computer vor einer Reinigung der Tastatur ausschalten,
damit ungewollte Tastenbetätigungen vermieden werden.

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den gel-
tenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

tions to the product are not permitted. 

• The product is approved for operation in dry, closed rooms only. The product may

not become damp or wet.

• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since this may become

a dangerous toy for children.

• Handle the product with care. It will be damaged through impact, blows, or by

being dropped even from a low height.

Connect the USB keyboard to a free USB port of your computer. You do not have to
turn the PC off. The required drivers are contained in Windows.
The BIOS/setup of newer PCs contains the support of a USB keyboard in DOS or with
other operating systems than Windows. You may have to activate the USB keyboard
support in the BIOS (option "Legacy USB Support" or similar).

• Turn your computer off and separate it from the mains voltage. 
• Then connect the supplied USB plug of the mouse with the enclosed PS/2 adapter.

The adapter only fits the enclosed keyboard!

• Connect the keyboard to the PS/2 keyboard interface. Observe the instruction manu-

al of your computer or mainboard to see which of the PS/2 interfaces is suited for
connecting a keyboard.

If you have a purple and a green PS/2 socket on your computer, the purple
one serves to connect the keyboard and the green one to connect a mouse.

• Connect the computer to the mains voltage and switch it on. No drivers are requi-

red for a PS/2 keyboard, as these are contained in the PC's BIOS.

The additional keys on the keyboard are automatically supported by the current
Windows operating systems (e.g. Windows XP), no additional drivers are required.

• If you use the PS/2 adapter and want to connect the keyboard to a PS/2 keyboard

interface, you have to turn the computer off and separate it from the mains voltage.
The same applies for unplugging the keyboard. Otherwise the mainboard may
become damaged.

With USB operation, it is also possible to plug in/unplug the keyboard when the PC
is on.

• If several PS/2 ports are available on your PC, follow the instructions provided in

the manual of your PC/mainboard to see which of the PS/2 interfaces is suited for
a keyboard (purple socket, see above).

• With current Windows operating systems, the multimedia keys function without

additional software. With other operating systems (e.g. Linux), the keys are
without function. 

• Place the keyboard in such a way that you can operate it without effort.

The fold-out feet on the bottom can be opened to slant the keyboard. This enables
a relaxed hand position.

Do not place the keyboard directly at the table edge but approx. 5 to 15 cm away
from it, if possible.

The angle from the upper arm to the lower arm should be about 90°, the hands
should form a straight line with the the lower arms. Do not angle your hands too
steeply to the side or up/down.

Align the keyboard parallel to your upper body and do not slant it.

When working for longer periods of time, take a break so that your hands, arms
and joints can relax. This prevents pain or tenseness. Occasional exercise helps
additionally.

It is generally sufficient to clean the keyboard with a clean, slightly damp and soft
cloth. You can very easily remove dust with a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. These can attack the plastic housing
and lead to discolouration.

Prior to cleaning the keyboard, you should turn the PC off to prevent acci-
dental key operation.

When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with
the current statutory regulations.

Die Tastatur ist zum Anschluss an eine USB-Schnittstelle eines Computers vorge-
sehen. Über den mitgelieferten Adapter kann die Tastatur auch an einer PS/2-
Tastaturschnittstelle betrieben werden.

Verbinden Sie die Tastatur mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres Computers. Dieser
braucht dabei nicht ausgeschaltet werden. Evtl. benötigte Treiber sind in Windows
enthalten.
Die Unterstützung einer USB-Tastatur unter DOS bzw. anderen Betriebssystemen
als Windows ist in neueren Computern im BIOS/Setup enthalten. Dazu kann es
erforderlich sein, die USB-Tastaturunterstützung im BIOS einzuschalten (Option
könnte z.B. "Legacy USB Support" o.ä. heißen).

• Schalten Sie Ihren Computer aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung. 
• Verbinden Sie den USB-Stecker der Maus mit dem mitgelieferten PS/2-Adapter.

Der Adapter passt nur für die mitgelieferte Tastatur!

• Schließen Sie die Tastatur an die PS/2-Tastaturschnittstelle an. Beachten Sie die

Anleitung zu Ihrem Computer oder Mainboard, welche der PS/2-Schnittstellen für
den Anschluss einer Tastatur geeignet ist.

Falls Sie eine purpurfarbige und eine grüne PS/2-Buchse an Ihrem
Computer haben, so ist die purpurfarbige Buchse für den Anschluss einer
Tastatur geeignet (die grüne dient zum Anschluss einer Maus).

• Verbinden Sie Ihren Computer mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein. Für

eine PS/2-Tastatur werden keine Treiber benötigt, da das BIOS des Computers
diese beinhaltet.
