The Alarm can be wall mounted using the bracket supplied.

The Remote Control is used to ARM and DISARM the system. The 
remote control operates using infra-red so it must be pointing directly 
at the PIR alarm to function.

A passive infra-red (PIR) detector is designed to detect movement in 
an area by detecting changes in infra-red radiation levels caused for 
example when a person/animal moves within the devices field of 
vision.

The system has 2 operation modes: ALARM and CHIME. Chime 
mode is a low security feature that will produce a door-chime sound 
when the alarm is triggered. In alarm mode the device will produce a 
constant high volume alarm sound when triggered.

Safety: Always follow the manufacturers advice when using power 
tools, steps, ladders etc. and wear suitable protective equipment 
(e.g. safety goggles) when drilling holes etc.

Before drilling holes in walls, check for hidden cables and pipes, the 
use of a cable/pipe locater may be advisable if in doubt.

The use of ear protection is advisable when working in close 
proximity to the siren due to the high sound level produced by this 
device.

The alarm is designed to be wall mounted with the ball and socket 
mount (included. The ball and socket mount will provide flexibility to 
aim the motion sensor in a particular direction.

1.  Select your desired location for the alarm, such as the corner of a 

room. This will provide maximum coverage.

 Note: The sensor has a 6m detection zone, with approximate 

angles of 110˚ horizontal and 70˚ vertical. Recommended 
installation height is 1.8 - 2.4 m.

2.  Secure the ball and socket 

mount to the wall using 
either the provided wall 
anchors or by screwing 
directly into a wall stud. 
Once installed securely on 
the wall, slide the insert 
bracket of the mount into 
the back of the unit and 
lock in place. The mount 
will click when secured to 
the alarm.

Het alarm kan op de muur gemonteerd worden door middel van de 
meegeleverde beugel.

De afstandsbediening wordt gebruikt om het systeem in te schakelen 
en uit te schakelen. De afstandsbediening werkt met infrarood en 
moet dus rechtstreeks naar het PIR-alarm gericht zijn om te werken.

Een passieve infrarood (PIR) detector wordt ontworpen om in een 
bepaalde zone beweging te detecteren door de wijzigingen in de 
infrarood stralingswaarden, bijvoorbeeld wanneer een persoon/dier 
beweegt binnen het gezichtsveld van het toestel.

Het systeem heeft 2 bedieningsmodi: ALARM en CHIME (deurbelmo-
dus). De deurbelmodus (chime) heeft een lage beveiligingseigen-
schap en produceert het geluid van een deurbel als er beweging 
gedetecteerd wordt. In de alarmmodus produceert het toestel een 
constant luid signaal als er beweging gedetecteerd wordt.

Veiligheid: Volg steeds het advies van de fabrikant bij het gebruik 
van gereedschap; trapjes, ladders enz. en draag de juiste bescher-
mingsmiddelen (bv. veiligheidsbril) bij het boren van gaten enz.

Controleer alvorens gaten in de muren te boren of er verborgen 
kabels en leidingen zitten. Het gebruik van een kabel-/leidingzoeker 
wordt aanbevolen bij twijfel.

Het gebruik van gehoorbescherming is aan te raden als u in de 
nabijheid van het alarmsignaal werkt omwille van het hoge geluidsvo-
lume dat door dit toestel geproduceerd wordt.

Het alarm is ontworpen om op de muur gemonteerd te worden d.m.v. 
de montagebeugel (meegeleverd). Deze biedt de flexibiliteit om de 
bewegingssensor in een bepaalde richting te draaien.

1.  Kies de gewenste 

locatie voor het 
alarm, bijvoorbeeld 
in de hoek van een 
kamer. Dit biedt 
maximale dekking.

De 

sensor heeft een 
detectiezone van 
6m in hoeken van 
bij benadering 110° 
horizontaal en 70° 
verticaal. Aanbevo-

2.  Bevestig de montagebeu-

gel op de muur door 
middel van de meegele-
verde muurverankeringen 
of door rechtstreeks in een 
muursteun te schroeven. 
Als dit veilig geïnstalleerd 
is op de muur, schuif dan 
het alarm in de beugel. De 
beugel zal klikken als het 
vastzit in het alarm.

Batterijen installeren in het alarm:
Het bewegingsdetectie-alarm heeft drie AA batterijen nodig.
Het batterijvak bevindt zich aan de achterkant van het alarm.

Installing batteries in the Alarm
The Sensor Alarm requires three AA batteries.
The battery compartment is located on the back of the unit.

1.  Remove the battery compartment screw and slide off the cover in 

the direction of the open arrow.

2.  Insert three AA batteries. Take care to note the polarity diagram 

inside the battery compartment.

3.  Replace battery compartment cover and secure screw.

Installing the battery in the Remote Control:
The Remote Control is supplied fitted with one CR2032 battery. 
Average battery life for typical usage is up to one year.

The battery compartment is located on the back of theremote control.

1.  Slide off the battery compartment cover located on the back of 

the Remote Control.

2.  Carefully remove the battery isolation tab fitted.
3.  Replace cover.

The Sensor Alarm has a low battery indicator light. When the 
batteries need to be replaced, the indicator light will flash slowly.  
Average battery life for typical usage is up to one year.

Make sure you have installed the batteries before proceeding.

1.  Remove the screw from the battery compartment cover and slide 

off the cover in the direction of the open arrow. Locate the LEARN 
button.

2.  Press the LEARN button.
3.  Immediately point the remote control towards the front of the 

alarm unit and press the ARM button. The alarm will sound a 
single short tone, and the light will stop flashing to confirm the 
remote has been linked to the alarm. The alarm unit will now 
respond to the remote.

4.  Replace the battery compartment cover on the main alarm unit 

and secure the screw. The alarm is now in standby mode.

1.  Locate the ALARM/CHIME switch on the side of theremote 

control.

2.  Slide the switch to ALARM mode.

Arming the Alarm:
1.  Point the remote control at the front of the alarm and press the 

ARM button. The alarm will sound a tone and the red indicator 
light will flash. There will be a 45 second exit delay before the unit 
is armed. The delay allows time for you to leave the protected 
area without triggering the alarm.

2.  When motion is detected, the alarm unit will sound a short time 

and a red light will flash. The alarm will activate after 30 seconds 
The siren will sound for 30 seconds (unless disarmed by the 
remote) and then turn off. After 15 seconds the alarm will check 
for motion. If motion is detected, the siren will sound again. The 
cycle will repeat until the unit is disarmed with the remote.

Disarming the Alarm:
1.  When returning to the protected area, the unit will beep once if 

motion is sensed.

2.  Point the remote control at the front of the alarm unit and press 

the DISARM button within 30 seconds to disarm the alarm.

3.  If the disarm button is not pressed within 30 seconds, the alarm 

will sound. During the entrance delay, the red indicator light will 
flash. Use the remote control any time to deactivate the alarm.

 Note: To test, a cloth can be used to cover the alarm to reduce 

risk of hearing damage.

1.  Verwijder de schroef van het batterijvak en schuif het deksel in de 

richting van de pijl voor openen. 

2.  Stop er drie AA batterijen in. Houd rekening met het polariteit-

schema in het batterijvak.

3.  Plaats het deksel van het batterijvak terug en draai de schroef 

vast.

Batterijen installeren in de afstandsbediening:
De afstandsbediening wordt geleverd met één CR2032-batterij. De 
gemiddelde levensduur van de batterij voor gewoon gebruik is 
ongeveer één jaar.

Het batterijvak bevindt zich aan de achterkant van de afstandsbedie-
ning.

1.  Schuif het deksel van het batterijvak aan de achterkant van de 

afstandsbediening eraf.

2.  Verwijder voorzichtig de isolatietab van de batterij.
3.  Plaats het deksel terug.

Het sensor alarm heeft een waarschuwingslampje voor lege batterij. 
Als de batterijen vervangen moeten worden, knippert het waarschu-
wingslampje langzaam. 

Zorg ervoor dat u de batterijen geïnstalleerd heeft alvorens verder te 
gaan. Verwijder de schroef uit het deksel van het batterijvak en schuif 
het deksel eraf in de richting van de pijl voor openen. Zoek de 
LEARN-knop.

1.  Druk op de LEARN-knop.
2.  Richt de afstandsbediening rechtstreeks op de voorkant van het 

alarm en druk op de knop ARM (inschakelen). Het alarm laat een 
korte pieptoon horen en het lampje stopt met knipperen om te 
bevestigen dat de afstandsbediening aan het alarm is gekoppeld. 
Het alarm zal nu reageren op de afstandsbediening.

3.  Plaats het deksel van het batterijvak terug op het alarm en draai 

de schroef vast. 

1.  Zoek de ALARM/CHIME schakelaar aan de zijkant van de 

afstandsbediening.

2.  Schuif de schakelaar naar de ALARM-modus.

Het alarm inschakelen:
1.  Richt de afstandsbediening op de voorkant van het alarm en druk 

op de knop ARM (inschakelen). Het alarm laat een toon horen en 
het rode waarschuwingslampje knippert. Er is een vertraging van 
45 seconden alvorens het alarm afgaat. Deze 45 seconden geven 
u de tijd om de beveiligde zone te verlaten zonder dat het alarm 
afgaat.

2.  Als er beweging wordt gedetecteerd, klinkt een korte toon en 

knippert er een rood lampje. Het alarm gaat na 30 seconden af, 
zodat u de tijd heeft om het bij binnenkomst uit te schakelen. Het 
alarm loeit gedurende 30 seconden (tenzij het eerder uitgescha-
keld wordt via de afstandsbediening) en schakelt dan uit. Na 15 
seconden controleert het alarm weer of er beweging is. Indien er 
beweging wordt gedetecteerd, gaat het alarm opnieuw af. De 
cyclus wordt herhaald tot het alarm wordt uitgeschakeld.

Het alarm uitschakelen:
1.  Bij de terugkeer naar de beveiligde zone piept het alarm één keer 

als er beweging wordt gedetecteerd.

2.  Richt de afstandsbediening op de voorkant van het alarm en druk 

binnen 30 seconden op de knop DISARM (uitschakelen) om het 
alarm uit te schakelen.

3.  Als de disarm knop (uitschakelen) niet binnen 30 seconden wordt 

ingedrukt, zal het alarm afgaan. Tijdens de inloopvertraging zal 
het rode waarschuwingslampje knipperen. Met de afstandsbedie-
ning kan het alarm op ieder gewenst moment worden uitgeschakeld. 

The chime is used to notify you when motion is sensed in the area. 

1.  Locate the ALARM/CHIME switch on the side of the remote  
 control.
2.  Slide the ALARM/CHIME switch to CHIME mode.

Activating the chime:
To activate the chime point the remote control at the alarm and press 
the ARM button. The chime will sound immediately and again when 
motion is sensed.

Deactivating the chime:
To deactivate the chime point the remote control at the alarm and 
press the DISARM button.

Panic feature
For immediate alarm with no delay, point the remote at the front of 
the alarm and press and hold the ARM and DISARM buttons on the 
remote control for 2 seconds. To turn off the panic alarm, point the 
remote at the front of the alarm and press the DISARM button.

1.  Set the remote to CHIME mode and press the ARM button. The 

chime will sound once.

2.  After the initial chime, wait 15 seconds and then wave your hand 

in front of the sensor. If the chime sounds immediately, the sensor 
is working correctly.

To clean the unit housing, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with 
water and wipe dry. Do not use chemical agents as this may damage 
and discolor the unit.

Warning
Risk of personal injury
•  Prolonged exposure to alarm siren may cause permanent hearing 

loss.

 
Battery warning
•  Remove batteries before storing the Alarm for extended periods.
•  Batteries may leak harmful liquids or ignitable materials or 

explode causing injury and product damage.

•  Do not mix old and new batteries or other battery types.
•  Replace all batteries at the same time.
•  Replace fully discharged batteries immediately.
•  Do not put the button cells in your mouth as this could impair your 

health. Keep out of reach of young children as they could swallow 
these and choke.

Remote Control not operating
•  Batteries low, flat, missing or incorrectly fitted.
•  Infra-Red Transmitter LED obscured.
•  Remote Control not pointing directly at PIR Alarm Unit.

PIR Alarm Unit not operating
•  Batteries low, flat, missing or incorrectly fitted.

PIR causing false alarms
•  PIR badly positioned (e.g. in direct sunlight, draughts and above a 

radiator etc.)

At the end of their useful life the packaging and product 
should be disposed of via a suitable Recycling Center. 
Do not dispose of with your normal household waste.

 

Opmerking: Voor de test kan er een doek gebruikt worden om het 
alarm te bedekken en zo het risico op gehoorschade te beperken.

De deurbelmodus wordt gebruikt om u te waarschuwen wanneer er 
beweging wordt gedetecteerd in de zone.

1.  Zoek de ALARM/CHIME-schakelaar aan de zijkant van de 

afstandsbediening.

2.  Schuif de ALARM/CHIME-schakelaar naar de CHIME-modus 

(deurbelmodus).

De deurbelmodus inschakelen:
Om de deurbelmodus in te schakelen, richt u de afstandsbediening 
op het alarm en drukt u op de knop ARM (inschakelen). Het 
deurbelgeluid weerklinkt onmiddellijk als er beweging wordt 
gedetecteerd. 

De deurbelmodus uitschakelen:
Om de deurbelmodus uit te schakelen richt u de afstandsbediening 
op het alarm en drukt u op de knop DISARM (uitschakelen).

Paniekeigenschap:
Voor een onmiddellijk alarm zonder vertraging richt u de afstandsbe-
diening op de voorkant van het alarm en houdt u de knoppen ARM 
en DISARM op de afstandsbediening gedurende 2 seconden 
ingedrukt. Om het paniekalarm uit te schakelen richt u de afstands-
bediening op de voorkant van het alarm en drukt u op de knop 
DISARM.

1.  Stel de afstandsbediening in op de CHIME-modus (deurbelmodus) 

en druk op de knop ARM (inschakelen); de bel weerklinkt één keer.

2.  Na het eerste belgeluid wacht u 15 seconden en vervolgens 

zwaait u met uw hand voor de sensor. Als de bel onmiddellijk 
klinkt, werkt de sensor correct.

Om de behuizing van het alarm te reinigen gebruikt u een zachte 
enigszins vochtige doek en veegt u het alarm droog. Gebruik geen 
chemische middelen want deze kunnen het alarm beschadigen en 
doen verkleuren.

Waarschuwing:
Risico op persoonlijk letsel
•  Langdurige blootstelling aan het alarmsignaal kan permanente 

gehoorschade veroorzaken.

Waarschuwing in verband met de batterijen:
•  Verwijder batterijen alvorens het alarm voor langere tijd op te 

slaan.

•  Batterijen kunnen schadelijke vloeistoffen of ontvlambaar 

materiaal lekken of ontploffen, waardoor letsels en productschade 
kunnen ontstaan.

•  Meng geen oude en nieuwe batterijen of verschillende  

batterijtypes.

•  Vervang alle batterijen tegelijkertijd.
•  Vervang volledig lege batterijen onmiddellijk.
•  Steek de knoopcellen niet in uw mond want dit kan uw  

gezondheid schaden. Buiten bereik van jonge kinderen houden.

De afstandsbediening werkt niet
•  Batterijen leeg, bijna leeg, ontbreken of onjuist geplaatst.
•  LED van de infrarood-transmitter is verduisterd.
•  De afstandsbediening is niet rechtstreeks op het PIR-alarm 

gericht.

Het PIR-alarm werkt niet
•  Batterijen leeg, bijna leeg, ontbreken of onjuist geplaatst.
PIR veroorzaakt valse alarmen
•  PIR slecht geplaatst (bv. in direct zonlicht, tocht en boven een 

radiator, enz.).

Aan het einde van hun levensduur moet de verpakking 
en het product weggegooid worden via een geschikt 
recyclecentrum.
Niet weggooien bij uw gewone huishoudelijke afval.
