disk XTR Oxygen 

The  disk  XTR  Oxygen  is  the  newest  addition  to  the  Formac 

disk portfolio, with one of the highest performance and most 

efficient  interfaces  available  today  .    Thanks  to  a  FireWire 

800 interface we can achieve ultra fast data transfer rates of 

up to 88 MB/s allowing the drives to serve well Audio,Video 

and 3D applications and users requiring fast, efficient data 

backup and retrieval.

The dual disk XTR Oxygen systems  (500GB,800GB,1TB & 

1.5TB)  utilise  RAID  0,  giving  fantastic  performance  whilst 

combining 2 smaller capacity drives to make one larger data 

storage area that also lets us save desktop space by housing 

it in an ultra slimline case. 

Cool-disk technology is incorporated in ,both our single disk 

and  dual  disk  XTR  Oxygen  systems,  this  unique  intelligent 

system enables the drive to constantly maintain the optimum 

operating temperature, improving life span and reducing noi-
