If you want to achieve an operating time which could not be obtained via battery

supply to the device without interim charging, you can use AAA batteries.

•

Charging with table charger is possible only if the battery pack is used in the

walkie-talkie.

•

Clean the device with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Do not use any cleaning agent

or solvent. This can damage the housing and enter the device thereby causing
permanent damage.

The battery contact can be wiped clean with a dry lint-free cloth.

•

If the device becomes wet, then switch it off and immediately remove the

rechargeable battery/batteries. Dry the battery compartment with a soft cloth to
minimize potential water damages. Let the battery compartment remain open till it is
completely dried. Use the device only when it is completely dried.

The device may not be disposed in the domestic waste once its life span has
expired. Bring it to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic
equipments. The symbol on the product, user guide and / or packaging
indicates this.

Some materials of the product can be reused if you take it to a recycling
centre. You can make an important contribution to the environment by
recycling some parts or raw materials of the used products.
Please contact your local authorities if you need more information on the
recycling centre in your area.

A legal obligation to return applies on all consumed batteries and rechargeable
batteries; they may not be disposed off in domestic waste. Dispose the batteries/
rechargeable batteries in

accordance with the official ordinances

. Recycle them. The

batteries/rechargeable batteries are recycled because they contain Nickel - Cadmium
(Ni - Cd), Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd) or Quicksilver (Hg) for example.

In order to communicate via walkie-talkie, you must set it on the same channel and within
the range of reception (up to max. 9 km outdoor).
Since this device uses free channels, all the devices in operation share these channels
(total 8 channels). Therefore, privacy is not guaranteed.
Anyone who has a walkie-talkie set to your channel can hear your conversation. Press

PTT button if you want to talk (establish voice communication).

Once this button is pressed, the device switches to transmit mode and you can speak into
the microphone. All walkie-talkies set on same channel within the range and in Standby
mode (not in the transmit mode) will hear your message. You need to wait till the other
side has completed the transmission before you can reply. The device emits a sound
signal at the end of each transmission. Press the PTT button to answer and speak into the
microphone.
