Serial SuperFlash® Kit 1   
Overview 
The Serial SuperFlash® Kit 1 contains three Serial Flash PICtail
TM
 Plus Daughter Boards.    The Serial Flash PICtail
TM
 Plus Daughter Board is an 
evaluation board designed to interface with PICtail
TM
 Plus connector found on Explorer 16 Development board. 
Inside the Box 
The box contains 3 Serial Flash PICtail
TM
 Plus Daughter Boards.    Each board has a Serial Flash device soldered on it.    The Serial Flash device 
includes SST25VF016B, SST26VF032 and SST25VF064C.   
Key Features of the Board
 
• 
8-pin header provides easy access to Serial Flash pins for probing and evaluation. 
• 
3-pin header provides easy access for external power supply and power measurement capability. 
• 
Plugs into PICtail Plus connector of Explorer 16 Development board.   
• 
Follows the published recommended usage including -decoupling capacitors. 
Getting Started 
The Serial Flash PICtail
TM
 Plus Daughter Board allows you to get started right out of the box. By using the Daughter Board and Explorer16 devel-
opment board, code can be developed quickly on known good hardware.    Example code is available for download from
