•   Be especially careful when dealing with voltages higher than 33 V/AC or 70 V/DC.
Even at such voltages you can get a life-threatening electric shock if you come
into contact with live electric wires.
•   Always connect the testing leads first to the meter before connecting the leads to
the test object.
•   When using the crocodile clips, ensure that the various cables, wires or electronic
components won’t get crimped or even damaged.
•   The measuring unit is only suitable for use in a dry environment.
Avoid using the
device in a damp or wet environment.
•   Always ensure that the testing clips are perfectly clean. Dirty or corroded test clips
can give an erroneous reading.
•   Make sure always that the crocodile clips are seated on clean leads or contacts.
If the required strength of the clips is no longer satisfactory, replace with new clips
of identical type.
•   Do not exceed the maximum permissible voltage values. Exceeding the specified
values will result in damage to the product and poses a danger to life. (See
chapter Technical data.)
•   Stow your meter including accessories safely in the carrying bag as soon as it is
no longer needed.

The phase sequence tester serves as a meter and testing device indicating the phase
sequence or direction of rotation in a three-phase network in the range of the measurement
category for phase rotation in accordance with EN 61010, and all lower categories. The meter
also shows whether all 3 phases are available.
The meter’s voltage is supplied only via the phases of the test
object that are connected to it. No batteries or rechargeable batteries are required.
Measuring under adverse ambient conditions such as dust and flammable gases, vapours or
solvents is not permitted.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions.
