802.11a and 802.11b/g External High-Gain Directional Antennas
Designed specifically for use with Trapeze Networks™ Mobility Points (MPs), these antennas augment the 802.11a
and 802.11b/g coverage capability for indoor or outdoor use.
The antennas are fully integrated into the planning and deployment functions of the RingMaster™ tool suite as well
as the Mobility System Software™ (MSS™), making deployment of traditionally complex and special-use RF accessories
a snap to plan and deploy. Several choices are available based on the gain and sector requirements of the particular
environment. The antennas themselves are small, unobtrusiveand sealed in a weatherproof UV-protective enclosure for
use indoors or out.
All antennas ship with mounting accessories suitable for wall or pole mount and come complete with a 1-meter cable for
attachment to an MP. Antennas are fitted with a female SMA connector. An SMA cable with male connectors on either end
attaches to the female SMA connector built into the MP and the antenna.
Management Integration
Complete integration into RingMaster and MSS allows only valid choices for channel and power options based upon antenna
type and country of operation. The directional characteristics of each antenna are integrated into RingMaster planning
functions allowing complete visualization of the RF attenuation characteristics for the various antenna options specific to your
environment and placement.
Deployment Options
