Renewal or Out-Of-Warranty Coverage
Service Plus 2-Day, Service Plus 5-Day and Quick Replacement warranty are renewable for successive periods of twelve (12) 
months, thirty (30) days prior to expiration of warranty period. After expiration of warranty period or coverage, SP2, SP5 
and the Quick Replacement warranty is available only with payment of a one-time sign on fee prorated for the period out-
of- warranty or upon factory inspection of the unit to be placed on contract. An inspection fee may be charged. 
Purchasing a Warranty
Additional years of warranty beyond the factory warranty period may be purchased within eight (8) weeks of a new 
product purchase. Warranty Programs purchased thereafter will be considered a renewal, with pricing based on the 
renewal column in the warranty schedule.
Purchasing a Warranty for an Out-of-Warranty Product (Renewal)
To purchase a warranty for an out-of-warranty product, the unit must be returned to Datalogic for an inspection; an 
inspection fee will be charged. If the unit is in need of repair, customer will be contacted and quoted the repair fee. The 
inspection fee will be applied towards this repair. Once the unit is certified, the Customer has 30 days to place it under 
warranty. Pricing is available in the renewal column in the warranty schedule.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
Please contact our RMA department for current repair rates. Repair rates will vary depending upon the type of product to

Service Rates
Eligible Datalogic products that are out of warranty and returned for repair will be charged the product-specific flat rate 
repair or time and materials fees in effect at that time. At Datalogic’s discretion, units deemed no problem found, requiring 
only minor cosmetic repairs, or are found to be abused and not repairable, may be billed at a reduced minimum repair 
charge. Qualifying units charged the minimum repair fee that are returned within 90 days, should be returned with all 
system related components (including but not limited to cables, batteries, docks, chargers, displays, etc.). If Datalogic then 
determines a repair is required the minimum repair fee will be applied towards the cost of repair. Units lacking a serial 
number may be charged a reserialization fee.
Please note that cables, decoders and input devices, such as wands and handheld scanners, may carry different warranty 
periods, hence, repair charges, if any, will be applied to the particular product based on applicable warranty coverage. Units 
sent in for repair may be reset to factory defaults. After a repair has taken place, you may need to restore your configuration 
and applications.
