Media Gateway
The Dialogic
®
3000 Media Gateway Series (DMG3000 Gateways) are
integrated systems that seamlessly merge traditional PSTN technology
with IP networks. These economical gateways help consolidate
typically separate voice and data networks to provide new and
differentiated communications services. By using DMG3000
Gateways, service providers and enterprises can realize the benefits of a
converged voice and data network without making radical, disruptive,
and expensive upgrades to existing PBX equipment.
Based on industry-standard server technology and the Microsoft
®
Windows
®
XP operating system, the DMG3000
Gateways provide a familiar user interface and minimize total cost of ownership by reducing the need for operational and
administrative training and special maintenance. The gateways also take advantage of the proven reliability of Dialogic
®
Diva
®
products.
Because they were developed in accordance with Microsoft
®
Exchange
®
Server 2007 Unified Messaging (UM) specifica-
tions, the DMG3000 Gateways are an excellent solution for connecting ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) PSTN lines and
QSIG-compatible PBXs to UM environments using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
Available as 19-inch standard rack mount servers, the DMG3000 Gateways not only provide superior voice quality, which
includes echo cancellation, but also high-speed T.38 fax over IP support up to 33.6 kbps.
