BitCloud Profile Suite (PS) is a full-featured, professional grade, embedded software 

development platform from Atmel. The software provides a framework for creating 

ZigBee Smart Energy, Home Automation, and Building Automation devices running 

on Atmel microcontrollers and IEEE 802.15.4-2006-compliant 

 radio transceivers. 

BitCloud PS supports select device types defined in  the  ZigBee Smart Energy 

, 

ZigBee Home Automation 

, and ZigBee Commercial Building Automation 

application profile specifications. It also  enables  a  full range of software 

customization, including support of a customer’s own peripherals and support for an 

external host microcontroller for running public profile applications in tandem with a 

dedicated ZigBee Smart Energy coprocessor.
