Changing the IP Address
Normally, the LinkStation's IP address is set automatically from a DHCP server on your network. If you prefer, you can
set it manually. An easy way to do this is to change it from NAS Navigator2 running on a computer connected to the
same router (subnet) as the LinkStation. The procedure to change the IP address in Settings is below.

In Advanced Settings, click Network.

to the right of "IP Address".

Select the LAN port.

Click Edit.

Disable "DHCP", enter the desired network address settings, and click OK.
Note: The following IP addresses are reserved and should not be used. If you configure one of them by accident,
initialize settings with the function button on the LinkStation.

Local loopback address: 127.0.0.1, 255.255.255.0
Network address: 0.0.0.0, 255.255.255.0
Broadcast address: 255.255.255.255, 255.255.255.0
The IP address range from 224.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255
