  Always remove the plug from the mains outlet before cleaning the appliance. 
  Never immerse the appliance in water. You can clean it with a damp cloth. 
  The removable items (filter, filter holder, drip tray) can be washed on hot spray 

water (or in a dishwasher).   

  Descale your appliance regularly. With normal use: 

- Hardness up to 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) – 2 or 3 times a year; 
- Hardness over 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) – 4 or 5 times a year. 
(Your  water  supply  company  can  inform  you  about  the  hardness  of  your 
water.) 

  Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth, do not use scouring 

materials. 

  Descale  the  appliance  termly.  Use  detergent,  which  can  be  obtained  from 

specialist shops, and follow the instructions given. 

  After decaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only water to rinse 

away the detergent remainders. 

 

Keep the appliance away from hot objects and clean it regularly. 

 

If your appliance is not functioning correctly, it must only be repaired by the 
appointed service agent. 

 

If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by a 
repair shop appointed by the manufacturer, because special purpose tools 
are required.
